Father’s Day Weekend Kids Fishing Camp

Hosted in Partnership with the Oak Brook Terrace Park District

Parents can take advantage of Illinois Free Fishing Weekend (no license needed).

Bring your kids out for an evening by the water and give them a chance to learn how to fish in a simple, hands-on way.

This small group camp is designed to help kids feel comfortable, build confidence, and enjoy time outside.

We’ll walk through fishing basics together and make sure every child gets time to learn and try it for themselves.

What We’ll Cover

• Fishing basics
• Safety around water and gear
• How to setup and use fishing equipment
• How to handle and release fish safely
